Since last month, I've found yet another excellent web offering that invites you to select from the largest collection of free software. I haven't posted the individual links here, but categories are:
Browser tools, Communication, Dialup tools, Download tools, E-mail tools, Graphics tools, Multimedia, Search tools, Server tools, TCP/IP networking, Security-privacy, Web authoring, Database tools, System utilities, Misc. categories, Pocket PC software.
Freeware is programming that is offered at no cost. However, it is copyrighted so that you can't incorporate its programming into anything you may be developing. Also, while free for personal use, you need to check the license agreement for details for commercial use, since this may not always be free.
