Turn your 'My Computer' icon into a toolbar
If you find yourself constantly needing to access items inside your My Computer folder, turn your My Computer icon into a toolbar! Here's how:
"Drag your My Computer icon off the screen to the left and drop it. This will give you a toolbar providing immediate, one-click access to all the contents of My Computer.
Right-click an empty part of the toolbar and tick Autohide. The toolbar will then appear only when you slide the mouse cursor over to the left side of the screen.
To UNDO, right-click it again and tick 'Close Toolbar.' The My Computer icon will then re-appear on your desktop.
You can use this device to drag the contents of any desktop folder to any screen margin."
