This is a fairly flexible firewall-router software, that is freely downloadable: IPFire Download

  • default is ISO image for x86_64 hardware

The IPFire project deprecates using modems in routing mode. That does not suit NBN users well. An example of how to configure an IPFire device with SOHO LAN is: Media:IPFire_SOHO.png
