    • rsnapshot handles the "how, what & where"
    • cron handles the "when"
  2. best installed from your Operating System's media/repositories - alternatively

rnapshot for Windows

  • probably not feasible because Windows filesystems do not provide the required functions
  • cwRsync goes part way
