Mike D had loaded IE 5.5 from a PC User CD ROM and there was general agreement that this was the best means of upgrading IE5. His problem was that he could no longer get his printer to print double sided. It was suggested that he go to printer settings through Control panel. 9. Jim J asked advice on whether he could upgrade to Win98SE with an update over the top of Win98 with an update disc. It was agreed that it was seamless, but to ensure that other programs were not running during the update. 10. There was considerable discussion about the need for the current attendance list at C& C meetings. The Southside view was that it was unnecessarily complex and that it should be put to the Northside that a membership list of C&C members with their email address and areas of expertise would be a better alternative. 11. Mike D was seeking a method of Font control in IE to enable smaller print out. 12. Anne. Raised a problem over loading additional fonts in Word97, and was pointed to Windows/Systems/fonts and to ensure that they were either .TTF or .FON Some of the issues raised and discussed may have been missed.
