1.The protection and enhancement of the natural environment of Oolong.
Other Objectives:
2.To promote and support the establishment of revegetated corridors to link vegetation habitat/remnants;
3.to promote and support the study of the critical role of vegetation habitat/remnants as components of the ecosystem;
4.to monitor and manage habitat/remnants for wilderness protection, ecosystem conservation and scientific investigation;
5.to develop an education program on vulnerable endemic species and ecological communities in habitat/remnants;
6.to promote the study and monitoring of the effects of isolation on vulnerable and endangered species in habitat/remnants;
7.to promote and support research into mitigating the effects of threatening processes;
8.to secure examples of the natural environment for scientific study, environmental monitoring and education;
9.to promote the long-term protection and maintenance of biological diversity; and
10. to establish and maintain a public fund to be called FUND OF FRIENDS OF OOLONG for the specific purpose of supporting the environmental objects/purposes of the Friends of Oolong. The fund is established to receive all gifts of money or property for this purpose and any money received because of such gifts must be credited to its bank account. The fund must not receive any other money or property into its account and it must comply with subdivision 30-E of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
