On this day, I was a road closure while Possum Bourne (Impreza Group A) and Cody Croker (Impreza Group N) drove around a short test circuit. They were performing testing in the morning, and then taking journalists for a ride in the afternoon as part of the launch for the new Outbacks and Forester GTs.
This was an unusual photographic opportunity. It is not often that you get so many chances to photograph two top level drivers traversing the same corner all day. This meant that I had many chances to try different camera angles and to watch the cars to pick the best timing for the shots. The overcast weather also meant for great lighting conditions, free of dark shadows in areas of bright sunlight, which make photography difficult when the sun is shining. These are some of the best examples from the 50 or so photos taken on the day.
