Technical advice
  • Connecting a laptop to the data projector (forwarded by Ken Ford Aug 1 as advised by Rod Peters)
    • Start/Control Panel/Display/Settings - set to 1024x768 then Advanced/Monitor to 60Hz
    • (If applicable) Check the owner manual and note the key combination to press to set the output screen 'to send to a monitor'.
    • Bring the owner manual along with you to the presentation for reference if necessary.
    • To connect up to the projector on the night take the thick cable out of the video splitter and plug it into the laptop 'video out' connector.
